Navigator North Project

The Navigator North Project is a proposed offshore wind project with up to 1.5 gigawatts of electricity generation capacity. It has been proposed for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone off the coast of Victoria.

The Navigator North Project is proposed to be located approximately 34 kilometres off the South Australian coast covering 700 square kilometres.

PROJECT HISTORY

Jul 2024 Origin Energy and RES were granted a feasibility licence for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone for the project. The licence allows proponents to undertake feasibility works to progress to a commercial licence.
