The Parkes Bypass will see a new 10.5-kilometre bypass on the western outskirts of Parkes, NSW. The project involves relocating the highway about two kilometres west, between Maguire Road to the north and Barkers Road to the south.

Feb 2021 | Infrastructure Australia added the Parkes Bypass as a Priority Project on its Infrastructure Priority List. |
Mar 2021 | The NSW Government issued Requests For Tenders for the construction of the Parkes Bypass, closing on 27 May. Separate RFTs were also issued for an electrical works package and an early works fencing package, closing on 30 March. |
Aug 2021 | The contract to deliver the Parkes Bypass was awarded to Georgiou Group. |
