Edify Energy is developing the Nowingi Solar Power Station, a proposed 360MW solar photovoltaic facility with an integrated 300MW / 2.4GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in the Loddon Mallee region, approximately 45 kilometres south of Mildura. The project will include solar panel arrays, inverters, transformers, underground cabling, access tracks, site buildings, and a new substation.

In 2025, Canadian investor La Caisse (formerly CDPQ) acquired Edify Energy in a transaction worth approximately AUD 1.1 billion, providing equity capital to support two large-scale solar and battery projects and Edify’s broader pipeline. |
