The Northern Section of the project will see delivery of the 12-kilometre section of the Ō2NL highway, extending from north of the Ōhau River to Koputaroa, north of Levin.
This section will be delivered as dual carriageway with local road connections, and a separated shared-use path along the entire route. The northernmost 3 kilometres of the project will be delivered as single carriageway.
