The Outer Metropolitan ring around Sydney, including Wollongong, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Newcastle is serviced by 11 individual bus contracts:
- Contract One: Cessnock and Kurri Kurri - Rover Coaches
- Contract Two: Maitland and Raymond Terrace - Hunter Valley Buses
- Contract Three: Port Stephens - Port Stephens Coaches
- Contract Four: Toronto, Wyee and Morisset - Hunter Valley Buses
- Newcastle Intergrated Service Contract (Formerly Contract Five): Newcastle - Keolis Downer
- Contract Six: Wyong, Tuggerah and Gosford - Busways
- Contract Seven: Central Coast - Red Bus CDC Joint Venture between Red Bus Services and Comfort DelGro
- Contract Eight: Blue Mountains - Blue Mountains Transit
- Contract Nine: Wollongong North - Premier Charters
- Contract 10: Wollongong South - Premier Illawarra
- Contract 11: Wyong - Hunter Valley Buses, and
- Contract 12: Bulli - Seapost (Dions Bus Services).

PROJECT HISTORY
Jul 2023 | Red Bus CDC NSW, a Joint Venture between CDC NSW and Red Bus Services, was awarded the contract for Region 7. Contract Seven covers the NSW Central Coast, including the Entrance, Gosford, Wyong, and the surrounding areas. The contract commences July 2024 for an eight-year period. |
Jul 2023 | Busways was awarded the contract for Region 6. The contract for Region Six covers the NSW Coast, including of Gosford, Wyong and Tuggerah, reaching north to Ravensdale, west to Kulnura, south to Patonga and east to Ourimbah. The contract commences in July 2024 for an additional eight years. |
