Stage Two of the Parramatta Light Rail will connect Stage One of the Parramatta Light Rail and Parramatta CBD to Sydney Olympic Park via Camellia, Rydalmere, Ermington, Melrose Park and Wentworth Point.
Stage Two is being delivered across two separate phases - Stage 2a and 2b. The full scope of Stage Two includes:
- 10 kilometres of new light rail track
- 14 stations
- 9.5 kilometres of active transport pathways, and
- a shared light rail and pedestrian zone along Dawn Fraser Avenue in Sydney Olympic Park between Australia Avenue and Olympic Boulevard.
These works include delivery of a 320-metre bridge over the Parramatta River between Wentworth Point and Melrose Park and bridge approaches on either side, totalling 1.3 kilometres.
Other packages being delivered as part of stage Two include:

- Stage 2a - Rail Systems Supply
Stage 2b will comprise track and an additional five stations between Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park.
