The Pottinger Solar Farm, proposed by Someva Renewables, is a generation and storage project to be located around 60 kilometres south of Hay, NSW. The scope of the works includes:
- approximately 750,000 panels with a total generation capacity of 300 megawatts (MW)
- a Solar Power Conversion Unit, and
- a Battery Energy Storage System with 500 MW / two gigawatt hours capacity which will be shared with Pottinger Wind Farm.
The project site is located within the South West Renewable Energy Zone.
