The Pottinger Wind Farm, proposed by Someva Renewables, is a generation and storage project to be located around 60 kilometres south of Hay, NSW.
The scope of the works includes:
- up to 108 turbines with total generation capacity of 750 megawatts (MW), and
- a Battery Energy Storage System with 500 MW / two gigawatt hours (GWh) capacity, that will be shared with Pottinger Solar Farm.
The project site is located within the South West Renewable Energy Zone.

Jun 2023 | Someva Renewables lodged a scoping report for the project alongside a Request for SEARs to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. |
