Punchs Creek Solar Farm is a proposed solar farm and battery, located approximately 64 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba.
The project's scope of works includes:
- an 800-megawatt solar farm, comprising 1.7 million solar PV panels
- a 250-megawatt capacity battery, and
- a connection to Powerlink's existing transmission line.
The project's proponent has not indicated the battery's duration capacity.
