Quakers Hill Wastewater Facility Upgrades

The Quakers Hill Water Resouce Recovery Facility (WRRF) upgrades includes:

  • the expansion of existing wasterwater treatment capacity
  • new pipelines to transfer reycled water to Prospect Reservoir
  • a new 20 to 25 ML/d Purified Recyled Water Plant, and
  • improvement in the quality of treated wasterwater.

The WRRF site at Quakers Hill currently hosts a demonstration Purified Recycled Water Plant that serves as a testing facility.
