Richmond Road Upgrade

The NSW Government has committed $385 million to upgrading Richmond Road.

Upgrades have been split into two funding packages, being:

  • $285 million for planning and early works to widen a 2.2-kilometre section to six lanes between the M7 Motorway and Townson Road and build a new off-ramp bridge to connect Richmond Road to Westlink M7, and
  • $100 million to widen to a section of Richmond Road to four lanes between Elara Boulevard and Heritage Road at Marsden Park.

The project has been funded through the WestInvest program.
