Eurimbula Solar Farm (formerly Rodds Bay Solar Farn) is a proposed solar farm and battery project, located near Bororen, approximately 50 kilometres south of Gladstone, Queensland. The project will comprise a:
- 696-mwgawat (MW) solar farm
- 666-MW / 1,332-mgawatt hour battery
- 33/275 kilovolt substation, and
- grid connection through existing 275-kv transmission lines
The project is being developed by United Green.

Jul 2018 | Planning approval was granted for the development of the project, with a solar generation capacity of 300 MW and 82-MW / 164-MWh battery. |
Apr 2020 | The Queensland Government issued a Notice to Proceed under its connection agreement with the network service provider, Powerlink, and Renew Estate commenced connection works with Powerlink. |
Jul 2020 | United Green joined the project as the majority equity partner. |
May 2024 | The project was formally renamed to the Eurimbula Solar Farm, with United Green announcing an increased project scope. The project increased to a capacity of 696 MW of solar generation and an increase in the battery's capacity to 666 MW /1,332-MWh. |
