The Saddletop Wind Farm, located near Lake Burrinjuck in Southern NSW, is a proposed 738MW wind farm to be developed by Squadron Energy.
The full scope of the project includes delivery of:
- a 123 turbine wind farm, with generating capacity of 738 MW
- a 150 MW / 600 MWh Battery Energy Storage System
- up to three collector substations and one switching substation
- transmission connections, and
- enabling infrastructure.
The project would connect to the National Energy Market via either the 330kV Yass to Upper Tumut line, or 550kV Humelink project.
