The Solar River Energy Farm Project is a hybrid solar and battery project located between Burra and Morgan in South Australia.
The solar farm section of the project will have a capacity of 210 megawatts (MW), and the battery will have a capacity of 256 MW / 640 MWh.
The proponent has annuonced it intends to increase the project's storage capacity to eight hours (2,048 MWh), however, this is not currently in the project's scope.
The project is being developed by ZEN Energy.
