St John of God Health Care have announced a redevelopment of their Subiaco Hospital in Western Australia. The project is being delivered over four phases, with key elements of their scope including:
Stage One includes:
- construction of a temporary carpark
- new service lifts and infill development, and
- a new, six bed, negative-pressure isolation ward.
Stage Two includes:
- refurbishment and upgrade to the main hospital entrance and lobby
- replacement of patient lifts across the campus
- upgrade of the existing multi-storey carpark, and
- upgrades to the secondary and tertiary engineering services, including a new site energy plant, site water plant and the relocation of the power services/switches.
Stage Three includes:
- construction of an eight-storey new clinical building with a Mother and Baby Centre and Heart Centre
- six operating theatres, and
- a new chapel.
Stage Four includes:
- development of an 11-storey medical, education and research building.
