Sundown Solar Farm

The Sundown Solar Farm development is a proposed 600 MW photovoltaic array located approximated 30km east of Inverell, NSW. Works involved with the project include construction of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, electrical transformers and inverters, battery storage, electrical cabling, telecommunications equipment, security fencing, a site office, maintenance building and car park facilities. 

PROJECT HISTORY

Nov 2017 A scoping report was released for the project alongside a request for the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs).
Aug 2020 SEARs were issued for the project.
Aug 2022 Supplementary SEARs were issued for the project.
