The Sunny Corner Wind Farm, is a proposed 500-megawatt (MW) energy project located approximately 35 kilometres from Bathurst within the Sunny Corner State Forest.
The scope of the project includes:
- 80 Wind Turbines with a generation capacity of 500 MW
- a 500-MW / 2,000 M-megawatt hour battery, and
- up to four additional substations
The project is proposed by a Mainstream Renewable Power and Someva Renewables Joint Venture.
