The Sydenham Station and Junction (SSJ) Works Package involves the transition elements from the Sydney Metro City and Southwest tunnel to the to-be-converted Bankstown heavy rail line.
The SSJ Works Package comprises:
- Sydenham Station works including concourse, platforms, services building and fitout (excluding linewide contracts)
- Sydenham junction works, including civil works, trackwork, overhead traction power, signalling and train control systems for the remodelling of Sydenham Junction
- existing combined services route adjustments and relocations, and
- other enabling works to support the Tunnel and Station Excavation (TSE) Works Package and Southwest Stations and Corridor (SSC) Works Package.
