Bus services in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area are divided into 15 regions, serviced by individual contracts. Historically, these contracts have been operated by a combination of the State Transit Authority and private operators.
Bus Contract 12 covers the Upper North Shore between Parramatta and the Hawkesbury River.
Contract 12 was procured as part of Transport for NSW's procurement processes for 10 out of the 14 Greater Sydney Metropolitan Bus Contracts.
The contract was procured in Tranche One alongside Contracts 4 and 14.
