The Takanini Level Crossings Removal project involves the construction of seven bridges across the Southern Line, between Te Mahia Station and Walters Road.
The full scope of the project includes delivery of:
- Three new vehicle bridges at Manuia Road, Taka Street, and Walters Road,
- Four new pedestrian bridges, and
- Roading upgrades.
