Tall Tree Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm with capacity up to 330 megawatts and up to 53 turbines. The proposed location is central west Victoria, west of Lethbridge, north of Teesdale and south of Meredith.

PROJECT HISTORY

Feb 2023 ACCIONA completed the installation of a wind monitoring mast at the proposed project site, marking the commencement of detailed planning. The structure will hold instruments to measure wind speed, direction and other atmospheric conditions to assess the site's suitability for a wind farm.
Nov 2024 ACCIONA announced that community consultation has commenced, with project referral to government expected in early 2025 and construction to commence, if the project is approved, from mid-2027.
Feb 2025 ACCIONA announced the proposed transmission route for the project, which includes a 220-kilovolt overhead transmission line that follows a route of approximately 11.3 kilometres in length from Lower Plains Road to the east of Taylor Road, connecting to the existing Moorabool to Ballarat 220 kV transmission line.
