The Tarong Battery is a proposed 300-megawatt / 600-megawatt hour battery located on the site of the Tarong Power Station in Queensland. The project is proposed by Queensland Government-owned Stanwell Corporation.
Stanwell has indicated that there would be a second stage of the project, however no details have yet been provided.
