The Texas Solar Farm is a proposed solar and BESS facility to be located near the town of Texas, 90 kilometers north of Inverell, NSW.
The scope of the facility includes:
- a 400-megawatt solar farm
- a 200-megawatt / 800-megawatt-hour BESS, and
- an onsite substation.
The project is proposed by FRV Services Australia.

Mar 2024 | FRV Australia submitted a scoping report for the project and requested the Secretary's Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs). The Scoping Report outlined the proposed scope, including a 400-MW solar farm and 200-MW / 800-MWh battery. |
