The Tramway Road Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) scope includes:
- a 300 megawatt / 1,200 megawatt hours BESS
- a 500kV transmission connection to the existing Hazlewood Terminal Station, and
- ancillary and associated infrastructure.
The project is located in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland.
The project is being developed by Eku Energy.
