UNSW is developing a new Canberra City campus on Constitution Avenue across an eight-hectare site that will ultimately comprise 14 new buildings arranged across five connected precincts, including the existing Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Reid site once CIT relocates to its new Woden Campus. UNSW currently has a campus located at the Australian Defence Force Academy.
The project is being delivered in stages.
Stage 1: Construction of two six-storey, multi-use buildings providing teaching and research spaces, student-focused areas, facilities for industry partners, and cultural and retail spaces.
Future Stages: Delivery of the remaining buildings and precincts across the broader eight-hectare campus footprint, creating a connected education and innovation hub once CIT vacates the Reid site.
