The Wambo Wind Farm, located near Jundowae within the Queensland Southern Renewable Energy Zone, is a 506MW wind farm, to be be delivered over two stages.
- Stage One will include a 252-megawatt wind farm comprising 42 turbines.
- Stage Two will include an additional 41 turbines with 254-megawatts of additional generating capacity.
The project is a joint venture between Cubico Sustainable Investments and publicly-owned Stanwell Corporation.

| 2018 | Renewable Energy Partners (REP) announced the project. |
| 2019 | Renewable Energy Partners and Cubico Sustainable Investments agreed to co-develop the project. Following construction, Cubico Sustainable Investments is expected to be the long-term owner and operator of the Wambo Wind Farm. |
| Oct 2020 | The Queensland Government granted the Wambo Wind Farm planning approval. |
| Mar 2022 | The Queensland Government announced a $193 million allocation for the project. |
| Jun 2023 | Construction commenced on the project. |
| Feb 2024 | The Queensland Government approved the second stage of the project. |
| Jun 2025 | Commissioning and testing of first turbines commenced prior to Stage 1 operations commencing in late 2025. |
