The Watta Wella Renewable Energy Project is a proposed hybrid Wind, Solar and Battery facility located near Stawell, VIC. The scope of the project includes delivery of:
- a 47 turbine Wind Farm with a maximum generation capacity of 376 MW,
- a 85 MW Solar Farm,
- a 400 MW / 1.6 GWh Battery Energy Storage System, and
- ancilliary infrastructure, including underground cabling, on-site substation, and operations and maintenence facility.
The project will connect to the NEM via the adjacent Bulgana substation.
