Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm

Wind Prospect have announced the Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm, a proposed 500MW wind farm located 190 kilometres north of Adelaide.

The scope of the project includes development of:

  • 83 Wind Turbines, with an indicatve capacity of 500-600MW,
  • Substations,
  • High Voltage Transmission connections, and
  • Ancillery infrastructure.

Wind Prospect have outlined the potential to host a co-located BESS, currently not in the project scope.
