The Yathroo Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project by Neoen Australia located approximately 8km south of Dandaragan and 8km north of Regans Ford in Western Australia. The project comprises up to 65 wind turbines with a generation capacity of up to 500MW, alongside a proposed battery energy storage system with a capacity of up to 400MW/3.2GWh. The project is proposed to connect into the South West Interconnected System via the existing 330/132kV transmission line near the site, which is planned to be upgraded by Western Power to a dual-circuit 330kV line.
